  1. Interesting blog posting that prompted me to think more about the names of the companies I deal with and what the name says about them. I also like the audio - easy to listen to and it really brings the topic to life.

  2. Hi Patricia
I think you've touched on some interesting points here - I work for a firm with a memorable (amusing, even) name and this often becomes an initial talking point with our clients. I believe it is extremely important for branding and client/customer retention to have a business name that reflects the goals of the business. I look forward to hearing more audio blog posts from you!

  4. Hola patricia,

Thanks a lot for your audio blogpost and your flowers. I enjoyed I our encounter and am flattered it inspired you.

My feedback. I center it around the format, not the content of the post. Ihopethis helps.

    An amzing lot of positive:
    - good voice. Good entonation. The message becomes very strong when adding a further sense (the auditive) to the communication.
    - it is very intimate and brings your own person much nearer.
    - it is very convenient since you can absorve it without staring at a screen, which is adequate for mobile on the go.
    - good length.

    Things that can improve
    - it is less suitable for absorving in and office or infront of a lap/desktop screen. You are not usually hooked with earplugs.
    - on mobile (not sure on desktop), i had not the possibility to see the length of it or move back and forth. Therefor, i could not see the lentgh
and decide when to listen to it.
-on mobile, i had not the possibility to move it back and forth. Therefore, i had to listen to it in one go.

    Recommendations
    - try to keep a good length. Not too long not to short. Around 3-4 mins is a good gut lenght, we are use to it as soundbite length from songs and youtube videos.
    - post a transcript from the post as text. It will allow to be read/heard as choice. Also, it will be indexed by search engines and help your SEO.
    - check the player you deliver it with, to ensure it can be paused and scrolled, also, ideally it will show the length of the piece. Make sure it
    works mobile/desktop.
    - it is essential to spread your post in all networks, to make sure it is amplified. Not sure you shared it on linkedin, xing, twitter and co. If you have not, you should. A small transcript of the piece will help teasing its content to readers/visitors

  5. Hi Patricia
Great audio blog. I'd never really thought about whether a company's name plays a large in the creation of brand recognition, rather attributing the recognition purely to sales figures. It is very interesting to think how much a business' name (like your example, Apple) can contribute to said business' success!
